Brand new to Virginia and I'm looking for any recommendations on gun stores local to me. I'm mainly interested in a few different types of CZ handguns, but I'm also interested in anywhere that will do cheaper transfers if I buy a gun online and have it shipped to a store/person willing to do the transfer. Thanks!

Vienna Arsenal does inexpensive transfers and has a fair amount of stock.

I also use Vienna Arsenal and highly recommend it. Transfers are $25, and it feels like a small town gun shop... they also carry knives which is big plus.

I can always be tempted by: - SPAS-12 with a folding stock - Shooter grade Luger - Schofield reproduction - S&W 586 with a 4” barrel

Thanks for the recommendations everyone-looks like Vienna is the go-to place so I'll check them out!

Look at Dominion Defense in Lorton. They do mostly gun shows, but have a bunch of stuff in stock.

I'd give a big +1 to Profession of Arms. https://www.fflscope.com/ffl/154059011j24515/profession-of-arms-llcIt's a home-based FFL, but he is quick, thorough, inexpensive ($20+$2 state police fee I think) and very nice to deal with. He mentioned to me that most(many) new things that you see on buds he can get for you for the advertised cash price, out the door with shipping and transfer included instead of on top. I haven't done anything like that yet since most of my recent purchases have been collectibles from gunbroker, but if you are looking at new things, it is worth asking him what he can do for you price-wise.

This is actually perfect. I think I'll probably be buying most of my guns online so it'd be ideal to go through someone that specializes in trasnfers, plus it's closer to me than Vienna. Thanks!

I'm from Falls Church and I would drive rush hour traffic to see Justin Cooper at Profession of Arms for transfer. Just a testament of how good his service is.
