I dont think I will buy another factory Glock again ; )
Well unless someone posts a $300 glock

Polymer80 PF940CL™ 80% Hybrid Compact Frame Kit. Uses a G17 slide on a G19 sized frame

Glock19 lower parts spares I had laying around plus some used parts picked up at shows or online forums

Completed the lower under 1hr. Used an x-acto blade to score the sections to be removed. 80 & 120grit sandpaper finish the cuts. No dremel or power tools were used

I used a hand drill

laugh

I will add pictures and the process I used a little later

Very easy to do.

I've seen too many mistakes with using a drill press and seen the mess a Dremel™ tool can make so I came up with a less complicated way

Use an X-acto™ blade to score COMPLETELY around the "REMOVE" marked area. This will prevent the plastic from tearing away during the next step with pliers. Scary stuff but read on

Then with pliers wiggle the section back & forth then bend to one side to leave a gap. Cut underneath the gap as far as possible and finish breaking away the section

Go over the rough leftovers with a jewellers file. No need to get super smooth. Next step

Rear is done. Thats not a high spot to the right but a low spot where the polymer did not fill in. Looks like the mold is not perfectly lined up left & right side. This was sanded down so the bar & sandpaper makes even contact & both sides are as even as possible. I did not want to go too deep

Its a G-lock. Sloppy fit is a given

The rest of the work with the front REMOVE is the same

The drill holes are a given. If you can't figure that part out give away your guns laugh

Nice LJ! I never liked the look and feel of those poly80's, but this makes me wana try! Maybe adding a talon grip will make it feel better for me.

About those holes tho, how did you... grin
