1909 Argentine Mauser 7.65x53mm
This rifle is close to perfect. Bore is excellent. I think I was the first person to fire a round through it after the factory. There was still grease on the internals. All matching, including the cleaning rod and *muzzle cover*. Nice condition. Also includes the bayonet and frog. You can see a five round group attached. This isn't a specially selected group. Only conceivable defect about this rifle is the lack of a crest. It doesnt appear to show any signs of defacement though. This might have been one of the rifles that was intended for the police forces, as these were apparently set aside without crests. Or something else entirely, just guesswork.
