So its my understanding that the primary election for the presidential race is March the 3rd.
Is anyone running against Trump as a Republican?? Not that I'm aware of.
Of course there is a bunch running to be the Democratic nominee to run against Trump in November.

-----So.... grin Whats stopping us from voting on the Democratic ballot on March the 3rd? Personally, I'm not dedicated to any party. I vote for the person, not the party.

Bloomberg is out to buy Virginia. He's obviously got an agenda and winning Virginia plays a huge roll. He's a billionaire that is spending whatever it takes. Can he buy your vote? If he were to win the nomination I'd hate to see what he spends to win the presidency. And he's talking about Hillary being his VP onoes

The MAYOR guy. I don't know much about him, good or bad. He comes off as being likable, so people will vote for him just for that reason. And at the time of me post this he is going well in the polls.

Biden isnt doing that well so far in the polls, though that may change. Nothing good to say about him. Not presidential material but people do love him.

BERNIE the Socialist. Yea, running as a Democrat but he's a Socialist. The young people love him. He's promising FREE FREE FREE. He's well known. Probably should of beat Hillary in 2016. He's a danger to America if he were to be president. I think the Democrats realize this as well.

There's a few others that are on the outside looking in.

So.....Who do you think that Trump stands the best chance of beating in November? And don't think for a minute that he's going to win in a landslide. We all need to vote in November.

As voters don't we have the chance to vote for the Democrat we want running against Trump? Of course it could backfire on us. But we could also make this a strategic vote on March 3rd.

I'll just say that Bernie is the biggest threat to America with his Socialist ideas. Has he ever worked a real job. What has he accomplished as a politician? Has he ever created jobs?

1. I think that Trump should have more than enough on Bernie to persuade voters to NOT vote for Bernie, or at least scare the heck out of Americans by Bernies Socialist views that will destroy America.
2. If Bernie does win, America is in trouble. After four years of America spiraling down the drain who's going to want to vote for a Democrat again? Then again if any of these Democrats win in November America is in trouble.

So....you voting on March 3rd?

Bloomberg is a very big threat. I see his commercials over and over again locally and I have received about a dozen texts from his campaign...his resources reach far. He bought VA this past Nov with our help (many of us failed to vote) and can do it at the National level. He is very clever and conning...my vote will not be for him as I see it too risky right now.

I'm going to wait until 2 Mar 20 to see who is on the BOTTOM of the democrap list.
There are many that should be un-electable but I will vote for the most un-electable.

I would vote for one of the top candidates that does not have a good chance for winning in Nov. Correct me if I’m wrong but would that make more sense than voting for the bottom person? I’m thinking that voting for the bottom will not move that candidate any closer to challenging the top candidates thus, wasting a vote. For those who know this strategy better than I; Would that sound correct?

We should all vote for Bernie. Trump has the best chance of beating him in the general election. Booty Judge and Klobechur are the 2 biggest threats to Trump in my opinion. They are basically normal people, and that scares me. Biden is running on fumes and has dementia, Bernie is a nutcase, Warren is just a shrill female Bernie, and Bloomberg is a true tyrant that is hated by both parties. Bloomberg reminds me of the mayor of San Angeles in Demolition Man.

Even after having obummer as president, I don't think the country will elect a gay man as president, so I doubt bootyjudge has a chance. Bernie......the DNC won't let him have the nomination, so a vote for him could skew the numbers, but it'll be thrown away anyway. I'm really thinking biden. He's not going anywhere, he can't beat Trump, so why not give him the nomination?

Ballot access to the primary was not automatic, and potential candidates had to file a 5,000-signature petition from qualified voters, with at least 200 signatures from each of the state’s 11 congressional districts by December 12, 2019, to appear on the primary ballot.

The following candidates are on the ballot:

Bernie Sanders
Elizabeth Warren
Michael Bennet
Joe Biden
Amy Klobuchar
Tulsi Gabbard
Deval Patrick
Pete Buttigieg
Andrew Yang
Tom Steyer
Michael Bloomberg
Cory Booker

99 of 124 Virginia delegates to the national convention are allocated proportionally based on primary results so I'm thinking either Sanders or Biden would help achieve the desired outcome.

I say we all turnout to vote for Trump on the primary regardless. A huge showing in a primary that doesn't matter says more about us and the sentiment in the state moving back to republican control than voting for whatever commie the democrats put out there ever could.

Bernie will be dead within 6 months of the inauguration. You would be actually voting for whoever he selects as a VP running mate.

We all need to vote for Bernie during the primary, and then Trump during the election.

I still don't get why the Dems are allowing an outside the party socialist to run.

After Bernie pulled half the delegates in Vegas the game has changed. Imagine if somehow a straight up communist would be freely elected to be president. It would be social, moral, religous and economic suicide.

I lean towards Tulsi or crazy Joe. Tulsi is a disposable vote but a thumb in the eye of the dnc. Joe is unelectable but any traction he gets means the others have to squeeze more money from donors who are getting tapped out. I just cannot vote for a commie. The unintended consequences are unthinkable.

When Hillary said she would have to spend a billion $ to win the election I was shocked by that number. Now Bloomberg has spent half a billion without even running in a primary. You cannot watch a YouTube video without his commercials popping up.
The dem with the most money might get the nomination. Still too early to predict.

I think voting for Bernie is the smart thing to do so the Dems crash in Nov.

I think we should also find at least 1-2 Dems who voted for gun control bills and insure they are replaced with gun friendly people, and we should tell the rest "look and see what you face if you continue with gun control"

We need to replace the handful of Republicans who sided with Democrats as well.

Funny, the more I hear about Bernie not being able to win, the more it reminds me of Trump in 2016.

If America is stupid enough to elect him in the November then we deserve what we get.
Trump should have enough money to run the commercials to show this country what Socialism is and what to expect. And if that doesn't scare the heck out of everyone then there's no helping them. I guess they'll just have to experience it to find out.

If VA was stupid enough to vote in the state level nightmare we are dealing with now, I will not put Bernie out of the realm of possibilities. However; there is defiantly a silver lining if Bernie does win the Dem nomination and may get my vote on Tuesday. Another area of big concerns is post elections in Nov. No matter who wins, I fear that the other side will not accept the results. Look what has happened since 2016...nearly 100% negative media coverage, impeachment, extreme partnership, protests, violence, etc.

If the Libertarian ticket is available, I'm voting for Jacob Hornberger, LP. He's a fellow Virginian and the most consistent candidate with my beliefs. If not, I'm voting Tulsi Gabbard or Trump. I want to screw up the DNC as much as possible, and I can't vote for any of the other Dims. I don't agree with Tulsi on the 2A or most of her economic policies, but she's strong on most civil liberties, is a vet, doesn't compromise her values, and is against our abhorrent foreign policy. Plus, she's suing Clinton, which is a plus for me. I just hope she doesn't get suicided whilst surfing.

EDIT: Oops, it doesn't look like the Republicans are having any voting as they know Trump will be the nominee. I don't know if the LP will be on the ballot. Tulsi it is for me.

I can NOT vote for the narcissistic, arrogant Idiot in Chief we have. His arrogant self serving character goes strongly against my personal Christian values and character. Trump is ONLY about what serves himself in empowerment and/or money at the expense of whomever of the working class he has to step on to get it. The ONLY thing arrogant Trumpet has going for him, in my opinion, is being pro-2A. And that is only to sway the pro-2a vote. He was a Democrat, but he couldn't get on the ticket so he switched his values to get empowerment. Trumpet is merely a self-serving, self-absorbed idiot that is dangerous for our country and its working class. However, I cannot support the extremists socialism on the other side either. The character of most all of our choices SUCK. If Steyer was pro-2A.... he would get my support. May get it anyway. Steyer is the ONLY one I particularly see as having a history of honorable character values that include putting others before himself. Which I value as a Christian. Trump and the opposing extremists are a reflection of what our national character has evolved into (the world vice The Word) in contrast to the character of our forefathers intentions. Trump is a tyrant want-to-be.....he is the smartest person that he knows. He must not know anyone else. My 2 cents...
