Looking at a 1968 Colt Trooper .357 on Gunbroker. 99% condition. Original box, paperwork and sight adjustment tool in excellent condition. Definitely a collector grade gun. What’s current market value?

The same pistol you were looking at ( https://www.gunbroker.com/item/866781665) previously "Sold" over a month ago for $1750 and was relisted ( https://www.gunbroker.com/item/861508835). It seems in the ballpark for what others are selling for. I don't know wheelguns at all, so I couldn't say where it is on actual value or if the price is in line.

I noticed in the sellers item description that the gun was a re-list. Makes you wonder if a shill bidder was involved. I dropped out of this round at $1400 which was my limit. Another bidder, who appeared to be a high end Colt collector by his recent feedback, got out early when the bid went pass $1200 and never got back in. This guy had dropped over $13,000 for an old Colt revolver just a few weeks ago.
