I have seen buckshot as high as 8-9 dollars a shot at some local places. 1 dollar a round is pretty cheap for slugs and buckshot right now.

I agree I'm saying #8 shot for a buck a round is crazy. When every store has it for $6 a box

There's still birdshot in some stores in NOVA. Prices are near what they used to be, no where near $1.00

But people will list things high I suppose.

Agent that is the reason I am willing to offer up some #8 and 7 1/2 shot for those who NEED it not for those that already have some. I hope people will be honest and not take advantage.

I’ll keep that in mind when things get rough where Wally stops selling for $5.25 per 25.

We need more gun owners like you in our community.

It is 25-rd box for the birds and 3 5-rd pack for slug and buckshots.

But your price is solid when things get so bad that we have to have a Light Out communities and pool our resources, skills, and any other atttributes.

Wal-Mart still has packed shelves at regular prices.

Yes..still do for now, but they stoppe supporting sporting goods department now so it is a it is a matter of not pissing off 30% of their clientele that they have ammo and guns. The clntons are board members.

Hillary Clinton served on the Wal-Mart board from 1986 - 1992. Bill Clinton never served on the board. How does that relate to ammo prices at Walmart in 2020?

It doesn’t from business sense and no one is talking about that here. Ammo is the bait to bring in clients. The clinton still have inputs to Walmart, who gained from lockdown. They stopped carrying many calibers to appease the left but know they would be losing sale in other areas like big other retailers who stopped all gun and ammo sale.

The concern is that Walmart would order less ammo in and that would impact ammo market price elsewhere. Walmart gets to keep its red clients while still appease their blue benefactors and vampires.

The national ammo price hikes at retailers are artificial and that is how Walmart can keep selling for same prices as before. Several big retailers haven’t increase price either but I don’t have access to them here. It hadn’t cost more to make ammo or magazines but that doesn’t stop places like psa to slowly increase prices on popular items and they did manage to increase 15-22 mags by 25% overnight last week and bump prices on many uppers across the board. I paid $300 for M&P 15-22 earlier this year at psa just a few days before psa started collecting sale taxes it includes MBUS sights, which are $100 on their own. That makes it a $200 .22 rifle that is probably the best trainer out there. Same rifle is now $400 without MBUS. S&W MSRP on this rifle remain unchanged.

It was stated that the Clintons are on the Wal-Mart Board of Directors which is factually incorrect. I fully understand what is driving the surge in ammo prices and most anything firearms related. Cabelas and Bass Pro have been sold out of the most popular brands of handgun ammo for weeks. I checked Sportsman Outdoor Superstore online just a few days ago for 9mm target ammo. Winchester white box 500 rounds......$450. It’s not anomaly. Most all online retailers are charging three to four times the pre pandemic price. Has nothing to do with red state/blue state politics or the Clintons past or present association with the Walton family.

Just got an alert email from Cheaper Than Dirt . Com about ammo. For the record, they are rarely cheaper than dirt on anything. 250 rounds of PMC Bronze 9mm FMJ with shipping and tax........$329 and some change.
