Hi, everyone. What do we know about how Northam’s new Covid executive order (https://www.governor.virginia.gov/newsroom/all-releases/2020/november/headline-861342-en.html) will affect guns shows? My layman’s reading of it looks like gun shows would be cancelled. I hope not—for everyone’s sake and because I have big buying plans in Chantilly next weekend!

I’m not sure if a gun show qualifies as “essential business“ the same way a local gun shop does. Would be interesting to know though, as I have a few things I need to pick up.

This is good news. A buddy of mine is an exhibitor there and said it’s still on as well. Now I just need to find an opportunity to make my way over there!

The last show her in Spotsylvania was a disaster. People didn’t know they had reserve viewing time online in advance. I believe it was only for 2 hrs. My buddies went and there nothing decent; no real guns outside of fudd inventory, no ammo with pricing under the stratosphere, and vendors look like they were vampires out for blood but were frustrated that no easy suckers found.

Everyone already got their stuffs, vendors will have to do better for business. I am buying from stores that haven’t jack up prices.

I miss going to Showmasters events. I remember going to it when I lived in Ashland by Green Top old location before al gore invent the internet and obama kickstarted online gun and ammo industry.

Chantilly shows are always big. Hopefully, everyone get some guns so everyone has a skin in the game when they push gun ban. People vote with their wallet and if govt only gives $100 gift card for a $1k item, people will revolt.
