I think I know I am good to go on this but wanted to be sure. Found 300 magnum small rifle primers I didnt know zi had when I was unpacking from moving the other day. I need to load some 357 mag for my lever action, but it is possible I could shoot a few in my model 60 Ladysmith. Hornady ftx projectiles if that makes a diff. Not sure on powder yet.

Good to go with the msrp?

Small rifle and small pistol primers are interchangeable, dimension-wise. The rifle primers will elevate pressure slightly and have a harder cup, so a pistol with light strikes may occasionally misfire.

CCI says their SRP are equivalent to SP Magnum primers.

The magnum SRP probably somewhat hotter than magnum SP .

Just me, I'd back off some on suggested load for regular primers and work up .
