BEST OF THE BEST / Rare Red Spinel / 3.23 Carat / GIA Certified - Vietnam Origin Report

Rare 3+ carat loose RED spinel with GIA Certified Origin Report and Tokyo Gem Laboratory Certification card. This gorgeous stone is a cushion cut with no visible inclusions and certified natural with no indication of heat treatments. Over the last 5-7 years red spinel has taken a leading position in the list of most investment-attractive colored gems; the best specimens originating out of Burma, Tanzania and Vietnam. Specimens ranging from 3-5 carats command retail prices ranging from $2,000-$5,000 per carat; however, color is key when pricing a red spinel. Intense red without any admixture of orange, purple or maroon tones represents the highest quality gems with the most investment potential; actualizing an annual value increase ranging between 15-30% in recent years. This gem is certified RED in the accompanying GIA report. Selling Price = $4,750
