The British, the USSR, and the USA all tried, all failed.

What's next?

How long till the Taliban have full control? How long will they hold power for?

They have been fighting amongst each other for 1000’s of years. We’ll never stop them.

We didn't lose. We were actually doing very well over there until sleepy Joe got a hold of the wheel.

Betting that all the optics of the **I'M AN IDIOT** show is because they really want to go back because they don't want to lose those lucrative contracts and kickbacks. Make it look as bad as possible so there is reason to go back. If it isn't because there are Americans left behind, then next up, weapons of mass destruction, or one of the 'left behind' aircraft ends up, oddly enough, crashing into something 'important' or bombing something 'important'
