Real quiet. Figured I’d post just to maybe get things going. I’m working on a load for a K31 right now and have a Mosin that turned 100 this year. Plan on getting them both out real soon.

Wish i have K31. Hoarders bought them up to keep in basements while young people are denied the opportunity to know what awesome rifles they are.

They are great rifles. I had 2, bought them when nobody cared about them and they were $150. Sold one cause I figured, what the heck I’ve got 2 and they’re cheap enough if I ever want another one. frown

They are over $400 and some are above $500. One can get a new Savage and Ruger bolt action at such price so they are mot cheap anymore. The first time I saw them was at Aimsurplus for $225. I ordered one but mail carrier misplaced them. It took 6 months to be resolved because it was shipped directly being an C&R item and a federally control item lost is a big deal. By that time, Aimsurplus wanted $375 for them so I didn’t buy. I’ll chalk this up as a gun that wasn't meant to be.

I would be nice to shoot them though because I have plenty of them. I have to find someone with one to take it to the range.

I have a swedish Mauser in 6.5 x 55 and a K31 was thinking of using one of them for PRS. Been looking at some optic mounting options that don't permanently modify the rifle. But would pretty neat to shoot an old milsurp in a PRS match. I know i won't do well but just thought it would be fun.

The mosins are just sorta sitting there for now. I do need to get back around to shooting but range legal ammo is over 60 cents a round so back to 22 and other cheaper rounds for now.
