I live in Arlington. My family is coming to visit VA for Christmas. Is there any open land where can take them to go shooting. I do not want outdoor ranges.

Help folks out with recommendations to you by giving an example of what you may want to shoot indoors, how far you want to travel, need of rental or BYOG, and whether your family wants to just plink or take a few classes. All indoor ranges will allow Pistol, handgun and shotguns may be limited to slug only indoors. Looking for any kind of basic simple rifle, sbr, or pistol chambered in a rifle caliber may need a more specific range back stop.

Just food for thought.
