I have a VEPR 7.62x54R from the old import. I got it around time I bought the house but it stayed in the safe since. Wood furniture with thumbshold stock like most VEPR of that time.

I see fluctuation between $3k to $5k.

Going by the completed auctions on Gunbroker of the last two months, they're selling for $1701-$2099. There are a bunch starting at $3000 or more, with zero bids.

Thanks. I guess I am keeping it for hunting later on when I have more free time closer to retirement. It is a strong sturdy gun chambered in dirt cheap ammo, which I have plenty of in sealed can so that should put on table as long as hunting is still legal and safe.
