Hello I just purchased a model 29-4 smith with 8 3/8 barrel I know the 29-4 was only made for 2 years but that’s about all I know I would say 90% condition with the box. I’m really just looking for the year 88 or 89? If you have a king to look up the serial numbers for smith & Wesson even better! Post the link

Go to smith-wessonforum.com and the members on there will be happy to tell you when it was made. To find out when it shipped out and to whom you would have to ask Smith&Wesson for a letter telling you that info. Good luck Travis#
