Hello all,

I submitted an eform 1 for an SBR on 2/20/22. Submission was successful, $200 for the tax stamp was paid, fingerprint cards and cover letter received by ATF on 2/24/22.
Still not approved as of today, which is 59 days from submission. I knw that the ATF says 60 days for approval, but I see many approvals average 30 days, or less.
Just wondering what wait times others have experienced recently.
Thanks.

I made a call to the ATF this morning regarding the status of my submission. I was very polite, as was the lady I spoke to. She basically said they were backed up, and just wait it out.
Today was day 70 since I submitted the eForm.
Lo and behold got the approval email and stamp this afternoon!
Not saying the call helped, but it obviously didn't hurt.
Getting the lower engraved tomorrow.
Cheers!

Good to hear, who signed it Nathan Hartsock, or Carol Ripley?

Jacob Huff signed off on mine. I wonder if he'll be assigned to my Form 4, for a suppressor, too. Might speed up the process. LOL!

I was told examiner's are assigned regional, never heard of him, before now. Not sure if the same assignments are for Form1 and Form4

I have seen his named mentioned in forum posts related to ATF/NFA
stuff. There appears to be little, or no, consistency as to how the ATF handles these submissions.
Hoping I get my Form 4 approval by September 1st.
