I’m selling a Marlin 1894 “Octagon Rifle”. This rifle is a 1973 model year and is one of 2,957 rifles made in the Octagon 20” Carbine for that year. To help confirm that, the first five of the Serial number are 27004xxx. It is JM Stamped. If this gun has been fired it wasn’t very much. Some of the pics show glare on the bluing making it look like there is no bluing or wear but that’s no the case the only missing bluing is on the side of the hammer from cocking the gun as I did one of the pics here. No sentimental attachment but I don’t have to sell and not in a rush just down sizing and thought it might be a good time of year to pass it on. Will be doing the FFL dealer transfer.
