Just thought I'd like to have a thread of my own with photos that I have taken over the years and will continue to take in the future. These guns are not necessarily mine as some of them are friends guns that I have photographed for their personal use or sales ads. Hopefully some of these will be new to you as I have posted them throughout the site before. If you've seen these before, stay tuned...I plan to keep "shooting" guns

Just throwing this one in there because I like it. The gun is my grandfathers former police carry from when he was a Richmond City cop back in the 50's. It is a 1956 Colt Detective Special in .38spl

Thought you guys might get a kick out of this. I got a 20mm ammo can and gussied it up a bit. It was 3 colors when I got it so I sanded it down, painted it khaki and did some stenciling.

You'll be seeing this used as a prop in upcoming photos.

Buddy you either are a very successful photographer or you missed your calling its not to late, you could free lance some gun magazines or industries just send some stuff out. Keep the photos coming their better than those cheesy mags

I don't know if my photos are magazine quality but I appreciate the kind words. I actually have been toying with the idea of sending some photos to a couple magazines just to see what happens. Maybe I'll do that.

I used to shoot weddings which, while it was good money, made me feel like my love of photography was turning into a job and I didn't like that. I've been published in a couple online magazines but then they started asking for more and it started to feel like a job again. I don't know...I just shoot for me. It helps to keep it fun.

Unfortunately my camera is starting to wear down from years of use and many thousands of actuations...many of which were shot in continuous burst mode which means as long as my finger is on the actuator, the camera is popping off photos at up to 8 pictures per second which is typically used in action sequences or weddings to ensure you get THAT photo. It's like full auto on a firearm. So the camera is wearing out and I haven't the money to replace it.

Sorry for not seeing this response, but don't make excuses man your good, you wanna start a online blog or something I'd bet you cash money that we'd get some gun advertising money to continue it, I'd love to help you get started with your eye forget the camara it's the eye that take the picture the camara just follows orders you could set -up blogs all over the place for advertiser to get on board. On a Glock kick lately

If anyone in the Richmond area would like to possibly have their AR15 photographed, please send me a PM me with your location and perhaps a simple picture of your current setup.

I'm looking for "tac'd out" AR's. Something that will add character to a photo.

There's no charge for this. I'm just currently interested in shooting a few photos of an AR15 and I don't have one myself.
The upside for you is you get decent photos of your gun. The upside for me is that I get to take photos. Win/Win
