Please don't pass judgement, but I have an IO sporter that has a loose dust cover. It almost appears too short. When I mount it, and the carrier spring moves rearward, the cover is barely able to stay in the notch under the rear sight block, and can shift up and down.

Any guidance is appreciated.

I think i got it. I was able to bend out the end of the cover enough to make it more secure.

Get a locking recoil spring for it from robertrtg.
