Does anyone have any experience fostering children in Williamsburg/James City County or in Virginia for that matter as a gun owner? I'm contemplating fostering but have some reservations about exposing myself to the direct oversight of the government.
Would love to read about your experiences and/or recommendations.
Thanks for your time and insights.

Im not sure what one has to do with the other.
Its none of the government's business what firearms you own, or if you own any at all.

I agree; however, I am aware that social services does home inspections and audits. I also know that guns and ammo must be locked separately, essentially no loaded firearms in the home.
Just curious if anyone has had any experiences with this process and was willing to share them.
