Definitely comment. When reading the proposed rule, this gives the ATF broad authority to define what is a frame. Could it be a block of metal or plastic if owner can readily convert it? Keep in mind the current appointed ATF director is a stout anti-rights elite.

I am having trouble finding the comment section for the proposed rule...if someone else is able to find it, please provide the link or direction here.

The regulations would necessitate the marking of slides since they contain strikers and/or breachblocks. No just ordering an OR slide for your whatever. Not sure if the serial numbers would have to match... imagine if you can only have 1 slide and have to get rid of the other...

Uppers for ARs would need to be serialized, imagine 2 ffl transfers to make an AR.

The proposed rule needs to be published in the Federal Register before it goes to regulations.gov. So sometime next week is the time to comment - you’ll need to be firm but polite - comments that contain profanity, insults, etc. are usually deleted and not considered.
