I'm in the market for a .54 caliber muzzle-loader in-line rifle. I DO NOT, REPEAT, NOT, WANT A .50 OF ANY KIND. Here's what I'm after:
1. A .54 caliber 2. An in-line rifle, NOT a sidelock 3. Any brand will do, but I have a very STRONG preference for T/C rifles 4. If it's rifled 1:48" or slower, it will get my attention, because I shoot patched round balls 5. Ignition is irrelevant, 311, musket caps, 209, all OK 6. Must be able to mount a scope 7. REASONABLE price, under $200 if possible 8. A very good bore, free of pits. I already have a pitted rifle 9. A removable breech plug
If you have or know of one, please PM me and we can discuss it.
NOBODY is making .54 in-lines any more. Traditions used to make one with a 1:48" twist, and I missed it on an auction site, for only $95. If you've got one like that, I need to know about it!
Thanks!
