I love in newport news and have gone too that range on Mercury, never again. What are some good indoor ranges? I'm willing to travel to vb if need be.

Are you active duty military? If so, Camp Allen is a great indoor range off Terminal BLVD in Norfolk. It does get really busy on the weekends.

The superior gun ranges in va beach are alright. There ammo and gun prices suck, but the gun range is good.

Camp Allen is shut down right now because they had a fire a few months back. Could still be a few more months until it reopens if it does which is horrible because it was my favorite place to shoot around here.

The superior pawn gun in newport news is 3rd worldish, be cautious there.

The marksman in newport news is ok, but ventilation can be an issue. Very smokey.

Bobs gun shop in norfolk is pretty descent, but always crowded and usually has long wait times.

The superior pawn gun shop in virginia beach. Its where i go. Female companions shoot free. Usually not too crowded. And you can shoot anything you want there. Ar's ak's pistols shotguns.

C2 shooting center , nvr been. too far of a drive , looks nice tho.

Chickahominey sight in range , beautiful drive and quiet , sometimes im the only one there. Bench shooting only tho. No pistols alowed.

Elmer - let me know next time you head out to Fort Useless range. I just took their required range safety officer training. This crazy winter cold haven't been out there yet. You got to register in advance any firearm you want to shoot prior to entering the post..
