Fairfax County Circuit Court CCW Renewal

Anyone recently done their CCW renewal? Any intel on how to do it? Submit single sided or double sided applications?

Submit notarized renewal app with two copies of your active CCW permit?

When should I submit? When does the renewal period open?

Any help and feedback would be super!

I got some intel on Fairfax County Circuit Court's rules:

1. Single sided applications are preferred
2. Be sure to include a post paid self addressed legal size envelop
3. Be sure to bring three copies of your active CCW permit NOT 2!

Following the above process... I turned in my Fairfax Co CCW renewal. No issues getting the paper work in.

So I have three idiot questions:

1. How much does it cost?
2. Who do I make the check out to?
3. Where do I mail it?

Fairfax is pretty good with initial issuances and renewals - follow the directions, and call if needed, they will answer questions - when my wife and I filed our initial applications - the person at the counter looked them over and found an error which would have caused a delay and needing to resubmit. I was over the moon with the help. A lot of the positive experience at Fairfax might be due to Frey (R) being the clerk of the court.

Frey is awful - for years he has required "proof of residence" and multiple copies of the application. He is a typical Fairfax Republican = Anti-gun Dem-lite

lol, figured I'd give you guys an update.

I kept fooling around with the VA state page. Got kind of frustrated. Then I realized I needed to go to the Fairfax County page

Anyway, got it taken care of. I am, and so are others from other states, always a little surprised at how ... unofficial these things look.
