Quantico has high power ranges up to 1,000 yards open on the weekend. Membership is easy to get if you’re DoD, but you can also get an associate membership if you get someone to sponsor you.

I think the club can sponsor directly at the moment due to a high # of current miitary members. They have a full timer at the shack/office so shoot them an email and see.

My ckub has 20 lanes going from 100 to 200 yards with break point for 50-yard sight-in. There are separate handgun, shotgun, skeet, and tacticool facilities too.

we would have 500-yard lanes if we didn’t get sued by some historic society ober right of way of some hiking trail so ddep behind the original all-in-one facility and we ended up having to spend money to build new ranges instead of expanding and extending the old range. the poopy part is nobody use that hiking trail except maybe 5 people per year and they are some check-box seekers who want another feather on their cap. that trail is separated from the range by concrete barrier, think woods, and a giant berm.

Fairfax Rod and Gun Club (Manassas) monthly highpower matches
You don't actually have to shoot the match. Shoot whatever you want during the match stages.

https://www.fxrgc.org/rifle/high-power-rifle-monthly/

Get on the mailing list and be notified of the events. You'll need to be on the list to get the gate code to enter.

Some of the same group of people that shoot at these events also shoot at 'public' events at Quantico. Same $10 or maybe $15 'match' fee. Of course you'll need to be able to access Quantico, so all the more reason to show up to FXRGC and make friends with those that have access. grin
