Best bet is to find a range that does gun rentals to try out the guns your wife may be interested in.

If you head south, Green Top’s shooting range is right off of 95 near Bass Pro and they rent guns on their range. Good folks and top notch service.

Second GT. If you become a member you get two free rentals per month. They have a large selection of new model firearms to rent. From full size to micro.
