Juneteenth Community Shooting Day

Juneteenth Community Shooting Day - 06/21/21 09:38 AM

I set up an event for new shooters and women to come out and engage with instructors in a safe environment. Superior Pawn and Gun in norfolk was gracious enough to let us have our session from 8am to 10am then, when they opened, offered 10.00 lane rentals. A few local candidates for state office came out to speak with people and Lawrence Mason represented VCDL as well. If you are in the 757, or have friends who are, have them look up everyone and support their candidacy:

Lawrence Mason
Sydney Copeland
Sylvia Bryant

Patronize Superior Pawn and Gun in norfolk, va; the owner is a staunch 2A supporter and not just passive and on the sidelines. Here is a link to video of the ladies shooting; a couple had never fired a gun before:

Six in the morning session from 8am to 10am then 8 people took advantage of the reduced lane price when the range opened to the public and took advantage of access to us instructors.

I’ve heard lots of good about Superior, looking forward to stopping in one day. Good work on engaging with some newer shooters, we need more experienced people to do the same to help educate people more.
