870 wingmaster v express

Will the fore end assembly tube of a wingmaster fit the express?

I only have notional experience - built a few 870s using mixture of used satin & gloss black Remington parts (with express & police receivers). My assumption is better finish meant Wingmaster parts & everything was interchangeable. Obviously check your clearances so as to manage surprises.

I am not exactly sure what you are asking, but the only real difference I noted with the Express is that it has dimples to keep the spring from popping out. You have to grind them off to put a mag extension. I used this link and it proved to be accurate.

Right if you want an extend shell tube (I use Wilson Combat SGET-U-2) some years will require dimple tool to allow the shell follower to extend further… for more shell capacity.
