i am holding my second annual juneteenth shot. i do this to present shooting to women and new shooters of color as they see what is going on in our communities does not line up with what is put out by the media and politicians. to win against the narrative i feel i need to expose as many new people as possible to a proper introduction to gun safety and ownership and help them get comfortable and proficient.
i have a few fellow instructors there, guest speakers, and VCDL had a presence last year and i expect they will do so again, just waiting on confirmation.
i will have a variety of guns for people to shoot but my resources are finite; if anyone could donate a few boxes of ammo it would be greatly appreciated. i need .22, 9mm, and 12ga (buck and slug are what the range allows).
