This is a petition that attempts to change the ridiculous policy of requiring a $200 fee and 10 month waiting period to acquire suppressors from licensed FFLs or from person to person sales. Due to the media, suppressors have a very negative stigma attached to them that is not even remotely accurate. What people don't seem to realize is they do not work nearly as well as they do in the movies and they are not for making gunshots completely silent; they are primarily for protecting the user and bystanders from temporary/permanent hearing damage as well as reducing noise pollution to neighbors of gun owners. Please sign this petition, its a nonsense regulation that needs to be removed.
