rifle mag restrictions?

Hello, just moved back to VA. Would like to hunt with the AR in 6.8.

Are there mag limits for hunting? I have a 5 round mag for the rifle, is that good?

The only state wide limits are for migratory birds and waterfowl with shotguns. There may be some county restrictions so be sure to check regs for your particular area. I use a 6.8 AR as well on occasion, usually with a 10 rd mag. Its a pretty decent deer caliber , little recoil and good to 300 yds or so. Good luck and stay safe.
