Quick hunt

This bird started gobbling at 6:40 this morning, I hit the call three times and shot him at 6:50 and back to the house by 7:00. He hung up just beyond the decoys and started strutting. 52 yard shot with the Mossberg 935 using 3 1/2" #5's. This is the heaviest bird Iv'e ever taken Had a 10 1/4" beard, 1" spurs and weighed 24.2 pounds.

Fantastic! Congrats. I went out and hunted in the snow and wind. Saw 2 deer but no birds. Maybe Monday..
