I agreed to buy a Tikka 270 with a leupold vx3i 4.5-15 for $750
I just wanted a picture of the serial number on the Leupold.
He says he's out of town and will do it asap.
Couple days roll by, and he says he's gonna sell it and another gun to someone else because he's had little interest in gun #2.
But he's selling without the scope for $150 less. A $500 scope.
So either the other guy was stupid or he was trying to scam someone with a fake Leupold.
Either way, it was super shady.
