SB 35 Firearms, etc.; permitted events. - Removes state law preemption, allows localities to set their own gun laws
SB 69 Handguns; limitation on purchases, penalty. - One handgun per month limit
SB 70 Firearm transfers; criminal history record information check, penalty. - Universal background checks
ALL PASSED. 35 and 68 were 21-19.
OF NOTE: SB70 (UBC's) passed 23-17. That means TWO REPUBLICANS VOTED FOR UBC's.
admitted during the hearing by one of the democrats: "the UBC is the one bill that we actually put work into. The only one that did not come down straight from the 3rd floor (Ralph)"
