Have a beretta 96, 40 cal malfunction on the range. Need a good gunsmith in the tidewater area.

What was the malfunction? FTF (failure to feed) FTE (failure to eject) what ammo? Fmj or hp and brand. Is it a new pistol?Has it been cleaned. Most problems can be traced to ammo or magazines or weak springs.

Bar on the side came was out a bit, the trigger would not work and the slide did not want to move forward. was able to tap the bar back in place but the trigger doesn't seem right. Would like a gunsmith to go over the gun and make sure it is still safe and reliable. wish there was a way to post a photo here.

Very helpful when that bar moved out the spring for the trigger was released and that is why there was no trigger action. I will have to reposition the trigger spring. Thank you very much.

I am glad I could help!Use a dental pick or a bent long needle clamped in a pair of hemostats.
