Pinned and welded barrel help

I have an old colt barrel that’s p&w but I wish to put a surefire flash hider on it to work with my suppressor that’s in jail. Is this a procedure a smith can do or do I need a new barrel?

Good gunsmith can do it or get in touch with d.wilson mnf he wil remove. He is located in CO. Be careful of smiths that are not familiar with the process.
