Clipazoid ban - 09/01/19 10:55 AM

If theres ever a magazine ban what will this entail, no high capacity mags at the range, in public, stopping sales, everyone will be a felon???. Now that bumpstocks are banned ownership of said stock makes you a felon, could ban on mags become a felony also?

There is no real answer because itís too broad of a question. No one knows what itíll look like until there is an actual law proposed.

Well if they're as dense as they usually are, they will ban "high capacity clips". None of my guns use clips, so I should be OK.

This wording would make the law invalid, guns dont use clips

We have been through a mag ban before. It made no sense then and did nothing to curtail crime, I'm not sure they will try it again.

They untimely want to take all our guns! Period.

Trump is trying to appease both sides by addressing "the background check problems". I'm not sure what the problems are or how well this will work.

My suggestion is,
the next time the gun grabbers stand up in congress and say current laws don't work therefore we need a new law -- we should immediately repeal all those gun laws that don't work, then sit down and discuss their new proposals.

All my magazines are 5 or 10 round hunting magazines. Wink, wink.

Sadly I think they learned their lesson from the 94 ban. If they ever get a do over this is what I believe it would look like.
1. Permanent / no sunset
2. Ban semi auto function, not just certain characteristics
3. Hi cap mag = felony

I'm less worried about Congress passing it, than I am about a new Democratic House of Delegates here in Virginia passing it, after this November..

The "KEEP AMERICANS SAFE ACT" as currently proposed says:

ď(2) Paragraph (1) shall not apply to the possession of any large capacity ammunition feeding device otherwise lawfully possessed on or before the date of enactment of the Keep Americans Safe Act.

So stock up now boys.
