H.R.5717 - Gun Violence Prevention and Community Safety Act of 2020 - 03/22/20 07:31 AM

Well patriots and citizens, the powers that be are at it again.

It seems under the guise of a national emergency and pandemic, congress has presented themselves with a sweeping gun control bill while the public is looking elsewhere again.

this bill is so large that it has a table of contents with hot links to the verbiage.

It has been moved to a third committee and is making headway.

Time to get out the phones again....

This bill will have gun ownership and ammo possession gone within a decade

Act as you will, mine is but ti inform as I can.

I passed this on to several people today. What happened at lobby day needs to happen now and again at election day.

The bill might as well be a proposal to end women having the right to vote. This would have zero chance of making it through the supreme court. And we cant have what happened at lobby day while practicing social distancing smile.

All of those measures exist somewhere.
Waiting periods, WA, CA...
Magazine restrictions, NJ,CA,...
"Assault weapons", CA....
Permit to own cards, IL
Suppressor ban exists in some states
Transfer ban
How many you can buy in a month

I wouldn't expect the supreme court to uphold your rights when these are piecemeal enforced in various states.

But those are at the State Level. Federal Reg's are a whole different ball game for the Supreme Court. Maybe I'm optimistic, I was very wrong when it came to the state of Virginia trying to act like California and New Jersey.
