Question: Best Scope Mounting Servicer

Question: Best Scope Mounting Servicer - 09/19/20 03:24 PM

I am new to owning a rifle and wonder if this helpful community can point me to a local shop that provides a good service. I rather give work to a local Virginian than a shop that is out of state. I am located in central VA, Lynchburg.

If it helps, I seek to mount a Vortex G2 Razor 3-18 on an MDRX by Desert Tech, chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. I also have a compatible picatinny-rail to scope mount (34mm tube).

I appreciate all the advice/input you have to offer!

PM me or add to this thread if you'd like.

Thanks,
DameLeche

To be honest, with a setup like that I would recommend learning how to do it yourself. It's not hard to do correctly with the right tools. I would be happy to walk you through the process or lend you tools by mail if you needed them.

Opportunity for a learning experience ! or check with these folks. Then come on over to Izaak Walton (www.IWLA.org/Lynchburg) and try it out at 300 yards.
