Is it better to have many souvenirs without the ammo or a few freedom pen with plenty of ink?

It depends. From a fellow souvenirs aficionado I would say you can't have enough. From a practical standpoint I would say a whole bunch of ink, and a few very well made pens...
Also spare parts for the pens.

That is what I think but those pens are so nice. I must have collected over 12 Austrian short pens from gen 1to gen 5 and now the strange variant of 19X. Then those commie pens from the class of 1947 and 1974. Plenty of ink and spare parts but had been selling ink to buy more pens.

I dont believe in this time, I would be selling ink. The way things are looking politically, and the skyrocketing prices, ink is very hard to come by. I almost traded some ink (dye color 357) for a pen, but decided against it. As expensive as ink has become, and its availability I'm holding on to all of my ink.

In fact if anyone has some ink that came out in the early 2000s, its dye color is 270wsm. I could really use some more. I have a pen that I like to write with during hunting season, and it really likes dye color 270wsm.....

I am thinking about posting a trade - I have an excess pen and lot's of ink for a writing platform I really don't use. Very popular platform. I would trade for other pens and ink along the lines of more traditional, long distance/hunting correspondence

I myself has reacquired the penmanship for those long distance relationships too. I learned a small letter delivered to the right address is better than a big amazon box not getting to the right recipient.

Does it matter if you can't even write in cursive or spell correctly? Learn to at least grammar good and you may have your answer.

Pencil has a lot of lead. My ink pens are good sprayers, no praying necessary because practices make perfect.
