Shooting in Powhatan - 03/07/21 10:19 AM
Moved outta NOVA (Yay!) and landed in Powhatan County. Seems like there should be some place to shoot around here but I haven’t found it yet. Anyone know somewhere in the county where I could shoot rifles and handguns?
Thanks
Jimmy

I think Amelia WMA is your closest.

Amelia WMA is rifle, shotgun, bow, (no handgun) and closes in the spring until August.

Please don’t vote for sensible gun control. We have enough of nova transplants wanting to bring us to 21st century.

I don't think it is the people on this board you have to worry about. I moved out nof NoVA to Rappahannock Cty, I don't believe there are many residents with stronger gun rights beliefs than I have.

@Jimmm
Really man?
I’m sick of people like you making assumptions that everybody in
NOVA is a “leftie-weenie gun grabber.”
Just shows ignorance on your part.
Your profile says you’re from Fredericksburg, that’s part of the D.C. Metro Area last I checked. Maybe you should worry about your own voting preference!
That, and follow the golden rule.
FYI...
Have a good day!

Oh and thanks to the folks that gave me suggestions.
I’m going to check out Amelia WMR in the fall.
