New Ruger 10/22 Built out of Spare Parts I had lying around... - 10/09/21 09:28 PM

Over the years I accumulated odds and ends of Ruger 10/22 parts. Some were from Rifles I built. Some were left over parts. Some were gunshow buys. Some were just spares. I realized I could make a entire rifle so I bought a new rifle two weeks ago, stripped it down to the receiver, kept the receiver, and sold all the new parts and made almost all the money back from what the new rifle cost. I'm neutral on the build cost. I think. Don't check my math.

That LaRue 10/22 extended rail makes a huge difference when you're trying to use a Rifle Optic on a rimfire rifle. That extra 2" forward of the top of the receiver makes all the difference for a good cheek weld.

Nice rifle. What’s up with the extra toe?

He had that grafted on so he can grip that rifle stock better while using his trigger toe. Lol
