Precision / long range rifle training wanted

Precision / long range rifle training wanted - 07/12/22 09:22 AM

I'm interested in paying someone with LEO, military, or even competition rifle experience for a couple lessons in precision rifle shooting. I don't shoot competitively (yet) but am mostly coming at this from a hunting context, so I'm really interested in multi-position shooting, improving position building, trigger control, grip, etc.

I shoot out at Airfield Shooting Club in Wakefield, so anyone within a reasonable distance would work, unless shooting somewhere else. For what it's worth, I typically shoot 308 and 6.5 creed for this kind of thing, my own reloads.

So if any of you are interested or know someone who'd be interested, please shoot me a PM.

How far do you want to shoot?

You need to visit us here in SW Virginia for a couple days.

@Verylargeboots: That's a good question. 500-600 yards would be nice, or farther, but I currently don't have access to any place with that kind of space.

@Bustedknee: I checked out the website -- looks great. Y'all will probably be seeing me soon.

I second busted knee, bangsteel will do you a world of good. Shot there myself for a weekend. Didn’t take the 1 mile shot, but went out 1040 with a 243. Best time and instruction going!!
