I found a couple of strange looking 9mm cartridges after a range session. Headstamp is Maxxtech. There is a shelf in the case that reduces the case volume and could adversely affect pressure. Here are a two photos, the second one being a cross section of one the cases. Just an FYI.

Use extreme caution when harvesting range brass. People like me leave cases with 12-15 firings on the floor smile

I just ran into this the other day while going through some 9mm. These cases weigh in at a whopping 86 grains with the primer rather than the average 60-65 grains of most other manufacturers.
