Do you know if they plan to come out with trifecta or 51T mounts for it?

I think i visited their booth several times at SHOT lol. They are really at the top of their game for suppressors.

I like the quick detach and direct thread options.

After over 7 months of waiting I picked up my omega yesterday. Once I get it out to the range I will let you guys know how it does. I am amazed by his light it is compared to other cans I've handled from aac and surefire. It's really light even with the asr mount.

Re: Silencerco omega - 09/11/15 05:24 PM

i love mine. i use the 5.56 endcap when i run it in my SBR. its pretty quiet. side by side its hardly noticeable difference between that and my buddys griffin 30sd on our 308's

Re: Silencerco omega - 10/20/15 04:06 PM

Just got mine. Lightweight, excellent construction, sounds fantastic on a Sig 716, 516 rifle and 516 pistol. Highly recommended; the reduction on the 10.5 inch 5.56 is unbelievable. Also got a Spectre II and very happy with that as well.

Two of the best Cans out there. Good for you. Enjoy!

Mine just got delivered today, which is 1 day shy of exactly 3 months. I'm hoping to get it in time to put under the Christmas tree because my wife will be oh so happy for me! (not)

Re: Silencerco omega - 11/21/15 09:43 AM

What would you guys recommend for a 22? I see SilencerCo has some great deals or ex military right now till the end of the month so I need to figure this out soon. I have been reading but it all starts to run together.

Re: Silencerco omega - 11/22/15 01:54 PM

The only .22 silencer I have is a Hunterstown Guardian 22. It has been very good, it's really quiet with sub-sonic ammo. It can be fully disassembled for cleaning and is very easy to take apart. Last I looked, they were about $200, give or take, plus the $200 for the stamp.

Thanks for the input I need to decide before the end of the month.

The Spectre II if you want SilencerCo. I'm a SilencerCo SPEQ dealer, feel free to give me a call or email.

The Dead Air Mask is hard to beat right now in size and suppression. The AAC Element 2 and Liberty Regulator are also good rimfire suppressors to consider.

Re: Silencerco omega - 11/26/15 01:35 PM

+1 on the Spectre II. No FRP, durable and can even be used with 22 mag and 5.7 if you expand your arsenal later. If you ever get up to Northern VA you're welcome to try mine.

Re: Silencerco omega - 01/19/16 06:34 PM

I ordered my Omega 5 1/2 months ago and exactly one week after that ordered an Osprey. Today I got the phone call the Osprey is ready for pick-up. Weird

Re: Silencerco omega - 02/12/16 12:48 AM

I didn't know this when I ordered but the Omega had a card in it for a free Specwar 762 ASR Flash Hider if you register it with Silencerco.

Nice bonus!

Re: Silencerco omega - 04/03/16 07:54 AM

I just shot my Ruger Precision 308 with my Silencerco omega and it was a tack driver. I was not wearing hearing protection and it was like shooting a 22mag. I was shooting Amax 155 and shooting holes in holes. All I have to say is Silencerco hit it out of the park. Also the Ruger is one bad gun so if you can find one you should buy it for sure. Its a keeper!!
Also get a life

Omega Refresh

Re: Silencerco omega - 11/08/16 11:57 PM

If you use it on a 5.56, try the dedicated endcap. Shorter, lighter and very impressive suppression over the .308 anchor brake. The job it does on my 10
inch pistol is nothing short of amazing.

Good point and suggestion Chris.

Re: Silencerco omega - 11/09/16 10:20 AM

I have a Omega on a 10.5 Noveske. I did get rid of the break in favor of the 5.56 endcap (Doubt I would tell a difference from .30 cal to what I have now but it was on sale from SilencerCo black Friday last year). It has my seal of approval as all SilencerCo products I own. Just wish the ARS muzzle devices were not so much $ so I can move from rifle to rifle more easily.

Re: Silencerco omega - 11/11/16 01:22 AM

Did you register the can when you got it? Silencerco was offering a free muzzle device at one point if you registered a new QD rifle can; it was an online thing and very easy. Also, 54-17 Arms has them on his website for well under MSRP and Jason is a good guy to deal with. Did my last 4 NFA transfers through him and won't use anyone else.

Yes I did register it with SilencerCo... They send you a flash hider for a ..30 cal thus not fitting the Ar15.

54-17 : I do like the business I have purchased from him before (Not NFA). I am applicable for SilencerCo's SPEQ program and it is very hard to beat those prices (He came very close)

SilencerCo did 60% off last years Black Friday accessories. Hopefully they will do the same this year.

Thank you for the reminder on Black Friday; I'll see what else I can't live without.
