There are still a few of us in FFX county that have not given up hope ... but we are sorely, sorely outnumbered. FFX county gov't will not allow any 2A sanctuary language, or even pro-2A sentiment. The FFX Board of supervisors has just one dissenting Republican, and he is seriously under fire every day. The rest of the board is extremely progressive. The incoming Commonwealth Attorney for Fairfax is even more "progressive." Fairfax County is huge in population - almost 20% of the state's population clustered in one county. I wish they would split the county into two or three chunks. Western Fairfax is pretty contaminated, but not as lefty as the east portions of the county. Our voices in in this part of the county are basically unheard - we are gerrymandered and divided. Saw this last week, it's an awesome message. Gives hope for FFX County.

The governor has found a new weapon to keep us in his sights. According to the Major of Chesapeake (city), he was just threatened by the state government. If the city adopts a 2A resolution, the state will cut off funding to the city police department.
Let that sink in for a moment.
If the city dares to exercise free speech (First Amendment) to support the Second Amendment, the state would choose to put public safety at risk by withholding funds.
I don't care if you are Democrat, Republican, Independent or whatever ... you have to see that this is just fundamentally wrong.

The State, and its Executive Office, have weaponize With holding funding for Public Safety, UNLESS the County/City delivers upon what the State Governor demands.
Tell me again what it is called when one with holds funding, unless the player delivers the result that are desired by the Payer?
