Summary
Concealed handgun permits; demonstration of competence. Removes the option for concealed handgun permit applicants to demonstrate competence with a handgun by completing an electronic, video, or online course conducted by a state-certified or National Rifle Association-certified firearms instructor. The bill does not affect any in-person means of satisfying the requirement to demonstrate competence with a handgun under current law.

Remember that another Bill in the Senate will make In-Person firearms training a felon, while this one makes on-line training no longer acceptable for CHP.

Joined with the anti-gunners and had introduced two anti-gun bills in the State Legislature.

Quickly we mobilized to demand they withdraw both House Bill 142 and House Bill 192. We sent out thousands of phone calls and emails and within 24 hours, Delegate Orrock had publicly announced he was withdrawing House Bill 192.

However Davis has disconnected several of his telephone numbers to avoid being called and told he must support the 2nd Amendment as written. But we are doubling our efforts and are chasing down more contact information for him.
