What is repetitively, daily? Weekly? Monthly? Yearly?

I have bought guns that I thought I wanted, taken them to the range, put 150 rds down the barrel and promptly posted them for sale here. Turns out, I really didn't like those guns.

Some guns appreciate in value, if you bought a gun, it gets some cult following and suddenly it is worth 3k more than you paid for it, were you in the business? What if it is just higher because of inflation? Does that have to be argued in court? Will every class 3 machine gun owner be in the business because his hk sear went from 2k to 45k or his mac 9/10 is now worth 12k when he bought it for 2k.

It doesn't have to be drastic to be worrisome. It just has to leave enough grey area where it was cut and dried before.

How often have you brought a NIB firearm at retail and were able to sell a month or a year later for a profit? It’s rare. So rare, the ATF is not gonna be investigating you. COVID pandemic panic buying excluded.

Selling a collection of firearms that you purchased decades ago and sell for more than you paid, isn’t going draw attention either.

The main point of the proposed change in Federal law is to bring more guns sales under the umbrella of mandatory background checks. Same as the state law we currently have in VA.

So if your main goal is to buy, sell or trade with the intent of making a profit, you should seriously consider getting your FFL. If not, dont lose any sleep over it.

I've had so many background checks for various reasons over the years, the firearms purchases background checks are redundant and merely for registration purposes.

The Western 3 Counties of Maryland Washington, Garrett and Allegany are very rural, mountainous, and geo-politically aligned about as faraway from Annapolis and Baltimore on the political spectrum.
The three Western Counties of MD should have, and still should seek admission into the State of West Virginia or Virginia.

NoVa has been an occupied territory since 1861, and perhaps would be better being its own entity, or part of The District of Columbia. I do not think anyone wants to be apart of D.C. or Maryland... that would be a hard sell to anyone living there.

Virginia needs its own State Electoral College to keep a highly dense populace area from ruling over the entire Commonwealth.

The Fix? Short term would be to let 3 NoVa counties go, Gain 3 Western Maryland Counties, and re-unite with Western Virginia under an Electoral College.
The long term... would be to end wokeness and this march towards socialism under the guise of more government and higher taxes somehow improves the lives of its people.
