Was gifted a S&W MP Sport II for my 18th birthday! I’ve been big into 2A my whole life and I’m excited to finally own my own firearms and take range trips. I’m heading to my friends father’s range in Suffolk and was wondering if anyone had any decent 9mm (or smaller) handguns that I could start with?
My budget is around 400
To my knowledge I can legally purchase a handgun through private purchase. correct? I can provide ID and any desired information I just don’t know how it works with legislation against background checks under 21.

All firearm sales and transfers MUST be through an FFL. No more parking lot transfers. Being an FFL, they can only transfer or dell to one 21 or older.
