This M1903 bears many traits associated with the USMC. The muzzle gauges a 1 and the throat is about a 3. The rear sight fits tight and moves freely. It does pass a field headspace gauge quite well. There is a repair on the side of the stock.

I’m interested in a full/partial trade for a M1911/A1, M1 Carbine, M1917, mag mismatch Luger, bolt mismatch Gew98/K98k, Walther postwar PP or P1, wartime M44, Chinese Type 53, etc. Cash price is $1100.

  • Non grasping groove stock with a J stamped in the cutoff recess and raised bumps on the cross bolts.
  • ”Hatcher” gas escape hole crudely drilled on the receiver with a lip around the edge.
  • Bolt is also an earlier single heat treat that got the enlarged gas escape hole drilled.
  • Receiver from 1911 not parkerized during rebuild and still has early bluing.
  • Hand stippled buttplate.
  • SA replacement barrel from early 1938.
