1863 Spencer Carbine. Gun is an all original .52 caliber, 7-shot metallic cartridge repeating carbine. Civil War gun that was manufactured in 1863 that can be traced to a particular civil war soldier. Name of the soldier was Edward T. Strickland who was a cavalry soldier in the 11th Michigan Cavalry.. He carved his initials into the stock. I have paperwork connecting this soldier to the rifle. Gun is in good condition and is mechanically perfect. No cracks in the wood and has a nice even patina. I can email additional pics. This gun is an antique and is not a reproduction and no FFL is required. $3300
